ATM & Debit Cards

ATM cards

Our ATM cards allow you to access your Blue Grass Valley Bank accounts at any ATM that accepts VISA® cards. You may use your ATM card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) issued to you to initiate transactions at ATMs of ours, ATMs within the networks identified on your card and other facilities we may designate from time to time.

You may use your card to do the following (though some services may not be available at all ATMs):

• Withdraw cash from your checking account
• Withdraw cash from your savings account
• Transfer funds between your checking and savings accounts
• Obtain balance information on your deposit accounts

You may withdraw up to a maximum of $300.00 in cash per day (provided there are sufficient funds in your account). For security purposes, there are limits on the frequency and amount of transfers you may make using ATMs.

Unless you specify a different account during ATM transactions, your primary account will be used for your transactions.

Fees

• Replacement card fee: $5.00 per card
• Replacement PIN: $5.00 per PIN

There is no charge for ATM withdrawals at machines owned by us. However, there may be a fee assessed at some ATMs. If a fee is assessed, the ATM will initially disclose the amount to be charged.

VISA® debit cards

The Blue Grass Valley Bank VISA® debit card is a more convenient, economical and faster way to buy the products and services you need.

You can access your Blue Grass Valley Bank checking account worldwide by making cash withdrawals through ATMs and conducting point-of-sale transactions from merchants accepting VISA® cards. You may use your VISA® debit card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) issued to you to initiate transactions at ATMs of ours, ATMs within the networks identified on your card and other facilities we may designate from time to time.

You may use your card to do the following (though some services may not be available at all ATMs):

• Withdraw cash from your checking account
• Withdraw cash from your savings account
• Transfer funds between your checking and savings accounts
• Obtain balance information on your deposit accounts
• Make purchases from merchants that accept VISA® cards using the money available in your checking account, including internet and phone purchases

You may withdraw up to a maximum of $300.00 in cash per day (provided there are sufficient funds in your account). And you may purchase up to $1,000.00 worth of goods and services per day, including retail purchases where you utilize your PIN and point-of-sale transactions, separate from ATM withdrawals.

Limitations

For security reasons and to enforce federal regulations, there are certain limits on the number of transfers you can make:

• Each of your savings accounts is limited by federal regulations to six (6) telephone and/or preauthorized transfers per month. If this is exceeded, we reserve the right to charge your account and/or change your account to a transaction account that will allow an unlimited number of transfers.
• Each of your money market accounts is limited by federal regulations to six (6) checks, telephone and/or preauthorized transfers per month.
• In-person withdrawals and ATM transactions are not limited by federal regulations.
