ATM & VISA® Debit Cards


 

ATM Cards

 

The Blue Grass Valley Bank ATM Card will allow you access to your Blue Grass Valley Bank accounts worldwide through ATMs accepting VISA® Cards. If you would like to apply for The Blue Grass Valley Bank ATM Card, please visit the Blue Grass or Monterey Offices and ask a Customer Service Representative for an application.

 

Types of Transfers: You may use the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) issued to you to initiate transactions at ATMs of ours, ATMs within the networks identified on your card, and such other facilities as we may designate from time to time. Unless you specify a different account during Automated Teller Machine (ATM) transactions, your primary account will be used for your transactions. Your primary account number and information may be obtained from the ATM Request Form. At present you may use your card to (some of these services may not be available at all ATMs):

 

  • Withdraw cash from your checking account.
  • Withdraw cash from your savings account.
  • Transfer funds between your checking and savings accounts.
  • Obtain balance information on your deposit accounts.

 

Limitations on Frequency and Amount:

 

  • You may withdraw up to a maximum of $300.00 in cash per day (if there are sufficient funds in your account).
  • For security purposes, there are limits on the frequency and amount of transfers you may make using ATMs.

 

Fees and Charges for ATM Transactions:

 

  • There is no charge for ATM withdrawals at machines owned by us.
  • There may be a fee assessed at some ATMs. If a fee is assessed, the ATM will initially disclose the amount to be charged.
  • There is a replacement card fee of $5.00 per card.
  • If a customer needs a replacement PIN a $5.00 fee will be assessed.

 

ATM Fees: When you use an ATM not owned by us, you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator or any network used (and you may be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a funds transfer).

 

 


 

Report Lost or Stolen Cards

 

Please call The Blue Grass Valley Bank immediately to report a lost or stolen card. We will cancel your card quickly and block all activity in order to help prevent losses.

 

If your card is lost or stolen after business hours, call Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) Payment Services at 800-264-4274 to cancel your card. Please notify the bank on the following business day so that we can monitor your account for any unauthorized activity.

 

If you believe the PIN associated with your card has been compromised, we ask that you contact The Blue Grass Valley Bank immediately and request a replacement PIN.

ATM

A drive-up ATM is conveniently located at our Monterey Office at 132 East Main Street. You can utilize this ATM 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week to access balance information, transfer funds between accounts and make cash withdrawals. There is no fee when you use your Blue Grass Valley Bank ATM or VISA® Debit Card at this machine.
 

VISA® Debit Cards

 

The Blue Grass Valley Bank VISA® Debit Card is a more convenient, economical and faster way to buy the products and services you need. Now you can access your Blue Grass Valley Bank accounts worldwide by making cash withdrawals through ATMs and conducting point of sale transactions from merchants accepting VISA® Cards. The VISA® Debit Card provides access to your funds 24 hours a day and debits your checking account directly for any transactions. If you would like to apply for The Blue Grass Valley Bank VISA® Debit Card, please visit the Blue Grass or Monterey Offices and ask a Customer Service Representative for an application.

 

Types of Transactions/Transfers: You may use the card and PIN issued to you to pay for purchases from merchants who have agreed to accept the card at Point of Sale (POS) terminals within the networks identified on your card, and such other terminals as the bank may designate from time to time. Point of Sale (POS) transactions will be deducted from your primary account. Point of Sale (POS) transactions involving a refund will be credited to your primary account. You may also use the card to pay for purchases from merchants that accept the POS debit card with a VISA® symbol. You may use the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) issued to you to initiate transactions at ATMs of ours, ATMs within the networks identified on your card, and such other facilities as we may designate from time to time. Unless you specify a different account during Automated Teller Machine (ATM) transactions, your primary account will be used for your transactions. Your primary account number and information may be obtained from the Combined ATM/POS/Debit Card Request Form. At present, you may use your card to (some of these services may not be available at all ATM’s):

 

  • Withdraw cash from your checking account.
  • Withdraw cash from your savings account
  • Transfer funds between your checking and savings accounts.
  • Obtain balance information on your deposit accounts.
  • Make purchases from merchants that accept VISA® Debit Cards using the money available in your checking account – even for Internet and phone purchases.

 

Limitations on Frequency and Amount:

 

  • You may withdraw up to a maximum of $300.00 in cash per day (if there are sufficient funds in your account).
  • You may purchase up to a maximum of $1000.00 worth of goods and services per day, including retail purchases where you utilize your PIN and point of sale transactions, exclusive of ATM withdrawals.
  • For security purposes, there are limits on the frequency and amount of transfers you may make using ATMs.

 

Limitation on Frequency of Transfers: For security reasons and to enforce federal regulations, there are certain limits on the number of transfers you can make. For example:

 

  • Each of your Savings accounts is limited by federal regulations to six (6) telephone and/or preauthorized transfers per month. If this is exceeded, we reserve the right to charge your account and/or change your account to a transaction account that will allow an unlimited number of transfers (see fee schedule).
  • Each of your Money Market accounts is limited by federal regulations to six (6) checks, telephone and/or preauthorized transfers per month (see fee schedule).
  • In-person withdrawals and ATM transactions are not limited by federal regulations (see fee schedule).
